AI Foundry

Turning AI Potential Into Possibility

Artificial intelligence is changing the way we work, learn, create and solve problems. But realizing its potential takes more than technology alone.

The AI Foundry brings together curiosity, diverse experience and artificial intelligence to turn ideas into action.

Like a traditional foundry transforms raw materials into something useful, the AI Foundry helps transform the potential of AI into research, startups, new products and services, teaching tools and more.

the goals of the foundry

Bring together people, ideas and expertise from across multiple disciplines and organizations.

Explore how AI can be applied to real challenges and opportunities.

Help turn concepts into research, products, services, startups, teaching tools and real-world applications.

Mapping the AI Landscape: An Interactive AI Taxonomy Lab From AI Buzzwords to a Shared Language for Innovation

AI is evolving rapidly—and so is its language. What is the difference between generative AI, LLMs, world models, AI agents, skills, MCP, prompt engineering, and context engineering?

Join the AI Foundry for an interactive workshop where students, faculty, entrepreneurs, and business leaders will work together to organize important AI terms, explore how they relate, clarify commonly confused concepts, and identify what they mean for future innovation.

No technical background is required. Come learn, contribute your perspective, and help us build a shared map of the evolving AIlandscape.

Join us September 17 from 5-7pm at The EDGE.
